Christian J. Sanchelima is the Managing Partner of Sanchelima & Associates, P.A. He has been a member of The Florida Bar since 2013 and is a registered patent attorney before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO Registration No. 70,150).

His practice includes patent and trademark prosecution, intellectual property litigation, proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, licensing and intellectual property transactions, franchise matters, and commercial disputes. He advises inventors, entrepreneurs, startups, and established businesses on protecting, enforcing, and commercializing intellectual property in the United States and internationally.

Christian has taught Patent Law at Florida International University College of Law. He is admitted in Florida and before the USPTO and has appeared in federal matters involving intellectual property and business disputes. He provides services in English and Spanish.

Jesus Sanchelima founded Sanchelima & Associates, P.A. in 1977. He has been a member of The Florida Bar since 1977 and is a registered patent attorney before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO Registration No. 28,755).

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida and a Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 1977. His practice has focused on patents, trademarks, intellectual property transactions, international intellectual property matters, and litigation. He has also taught as an adjunct professor at Florida International University College of Law and has written on trademark law.

Jesus is admitted in Florida, before the USPTO, and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He is active in professional intellectual property organizations and provides services in English and Spanish.

Liany Estevez is an attorney with Sanchelima & Associates, P.A. and a member of The Florida Bar (Bar No. 1024902). Her practice includes federal trademark prosecution, Trademark Trial and Appeal Board proceedings, intellectual property litigation, and related business disputes.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Chicago in 2013 and a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Florida International University College of Law in 2020. She joined the firm in 2014 and gained experience as a legal assistant and law clerk before becoming an associate attorney.

Liany represents clients in matters involving brand clearance, registration, enforcement, and disputes. She provides services in English and Spanish.
